The cooperative housing association and the eco-community Friskoven, located in Almindingen north of Åkirkeby, would like to invite you inside for a tour!

Since 2019, Friskoven has been working to transform the dilapidated old barracks in the forest into an eco-community, a place to live and stay for families with room for lots of community. In collaboration with BRK, work is currently being done on a local plan with space for joint workshops, business premises, playground, joint gardening and much more, for use by both the community's residents and the local community.

We would like to show how far we have come and talk about our visions for the place.

We already have a large community of children on site and we therefore also invite you to play and various children's activities on the playground at the same time as the tour.

We end the tour and the children's activities with a long table dinner with local produce from our own garden and food gathered in the forest.
